Always love Photoshop's photostitching abilities... First time I broke out the little camera in a while, San Jose Sharks home opening game last week.

Hawaii - Oahu photos

Some pics from vacation to Oahu!  This was the big test of my new point-and-shoot...

Hanauma Bay panorama:

Snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, testing out the camera's underwater capabilities (a bit unnerving to put your brand new camera in the water with no casing!)

saw some cool flowers...

New camera

Got a new camera, basically the new version of my old point and shoot as it had taken over 8,000 photos and had seen better days...

My new camera is the Sony Cyber-shot TX-20

Alright quality for a point and shoot - works for everyday needs. What I'm really looking forward to is trying it out underwater (it is waterproof)!

Dancing Pear homework

This is a homework assignment I did to learn how to animate non-linear deformers.  It's definitely not amazing animation or anything but it makes me laugh because it is ridiculous...

Saloon 3d Model and Textures

Here is my saloon for our hard surface modeling class's western town project.  Textures are a combination of hand painted, photos I took, and a couple from the web.  Main building and stairs 402 polys.  1024x1024 textures used throughout scene.

Angry... pigs?

Tweaked the earlier version of this image I made in Illustator a while ago... they are in disguise now!

goofin with Illustrator

Made this for my gamer girlie friend to display next to her gamertag on xbox! :)

3d model "office building"

My "completed" (could always do more work on these things...) building, bump mapped and alpha applied to the window panes.

557 polys, textures all painted from scratch in Photoshop.

3d model mailbox

Learning how to use Zbrush and Maya together.  Modeled low poly in Maya, then convert to high poly in Zbrush.  Painted custom alphas in Photoshop then used them on the high poly model to create the text and detailing on the mailbox.  Exported bump map from Zbrush to apply to the low poly Maya model.

Photoshop homework

We were to replicate a tabloid with our own photos and some grabbed from the internet...

I had started a silly project on my own, which I then used in my homework assignment as well....

Self Portrait Vectors

Forgot to show my previous Photoshop homework.  We had to do a self-portrait using a combination of effects and drawing shapes with the pen tool.

Postcard and Stamp Photoshop Assignment

We had an assignment for Photoshop II class to take photos and design a "Wish you were here" postcard (and matching postage stamp) about where we live. The idea was to portray it any way you want... I went in this direction:

Modeling and Animation II, Homework

In case you've been wondering what I've been up to so far this semester, it has been a lot of hours on Maya.  Here is my progress so far on my head model.  I think it is going well for my first time modeling a face/head.  Working on the blend shapes currently.  By the end of the semester it will be rigged and textured.  I think we are learning how to do fur/hair so we'll see if I can apply that to this model as well.

More sewing today

Again, taking advantage of some time off... made a pull-string business card holder.  I saw something similar around and wanted to make my own version of it.

Here it is with the business cards inside:

and this is what happens when you pull the string!
